Dwarfs beat Okwahu

Cape Coast, July 31 GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs played an improved game to beat visiting Okwahu United 2-0 in their GT Premier League match at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Sunday. Dwarfs from the kick off took absolute control of the match and scored the opener in the 32nd minute through midfielder, Ato Quansah.

Okwahu retuned the attack and their attack lead by Issaka Ibrahim tormented the defence of Dwarfs but the iron-clad defenders pivoted around Mark Fish held them at bay.

The best chance for Okwahu came in the 75th minute when outside right Azuma Nelson with only the Dwarfs keeper to beat, blasted the chance of target.

Dwarfs once again came into the picture and following series of attack in their opponents goal vital area they earned a free kick and veteran Richard Ackon slotted home with a thunderbolt shot in the 79th minute to raise the goal tally to 2-0.
