The Confederation of African Football (CAF), on Thursday, announced the schedule for this year’s Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions.

Ghanaian representatives which include Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko will be involved in the preliminary round of matches which kicks start on the 9th of February till the 11th and the away will be on the 20 and 21 of the same month.

Both Africa club competitions will be halted as the African Super Cup between CL champions, Wydad Casablanca and Confederation winner, TP Mazembe between the

23rd and 25th of February as well.
The round of 32 home legs will be held on the 6th and 7th while the away leg will be from 16 until 18 of March. The finals of the round of 32 of the Confederations Cup will be from the 6th until the 8th and the return will be on the 17th and 18th of April.

The group stages will begin on the 4th of May and will end in August, considering the competitions will be paused for the 2018 World Cup in June.

From the 14th until the 16th of September will be the home leg of the quarterfinals and from the 21st till the 23rd will be the away leg.

The semifinals home leg will be on the 2nd and 3rd of October and the away leg will be on the 23rd and 24th.

The competitions will conclude as the CL final home leg will be between the 2nd and the 4th while the away leg will be between the 9th and 11th of November.

The Confederations Cup finals will be between the 23rd and the 25th of the same month and the away leg will be from the 30th of November and the 2nd of December.
