MTN final golf tourney to tee-off on Dec. 9

The MTN final golf tournament of the year would be held on Saturday, December 9, at the Celebrity Golf Course, at Sakumono, a suburb of Accra.

The tourney will attract about 100 golfers from the various clubs in the country, including Tema Golf Country, Royal Golf Club of Kumasi, Damang Goldfields and Takoradi Golf Club.

The Business Development Manager at MTN, Mr Emmanuel Gyasi emphasized that MTN has used the golf competition to interact with their highly valued clients to share business ideas and network on the golf course.

''A lot of business deals are hatched and executed during golf play. Again as much as it's an opportunity to relax after a heavy days work at the office, MTN uses this opportunity to say thank you to our high-value customers' he said.

He said MTN would continue sponsoring golf in 2018 with the introduction of new innovations.

''We will continue to own the golf space and continue to encourage and motivate more Ghanaians to take up the sport,'' he stressed

He said Prizes for the competition would include trophies, devices as well as broadband for the winners.

MTN sponsors golf competitions across the country, which includes the CEO Invitational Tournaments in Sakumono and Takoradi, Tema Classic golf tournament as well as South Africa Freedom Day Tournament, at the Celebrity golf course.
