The course, which was held between September 19 to 29, 2017 at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Centre was under the instructions of three ITF experts: Noah Bagerbaseh, Richard Ayi Dartey, and Henry Quansay.

The participants were taken through:
*Teaching methodology
*Technical diagnosis and corrections
*Tactics and strategy in singles and doubles
*Fitness training
*Biomechanics of tennis, Basic Spins of tennis strokes

*Training and competition
*Communication and the role of the coach.
“It is quite obvious that the course will transform Ghana tennis because the level of enthusiasm by our coaches who have come from all parts of the country to get equipped with the latest coaching of the game is very huge," he said

He added saying "I am very optimistic our coaches will never remain the same as their philosophy of teaching has changed".

Secretary-General for GTF, Philipina Frimpongmaa, advised the newly ITF-trained coaches to develop the interest in bringing young girls into tennis.

The closing ceremony came after the written exam on Friday 29th September and certificates of participation were awarded to the participating coaches.
