Ashgold Supporters’ Executives Pay Homage To Injured Players

The National Coordinating Committee of AshGold paid homage to AshGold's injured players in the likes of Valentine Atem, Thomas Duah and Owusu Sekyere at their Sam Jonah Estate residence on Tuesday 24th May 2005.

The executives expressed their dismay following the absence of the players due to their unfortunate sustaining of injuries and wished them speedily recovery to help the club from its present situation.

According to Atem he thanked the executives and urged them to remember them in prayers. He said “I thought the fans of AshGold only need me on the field of play but what has happened today is really touching. I have always loved to help AshGold qualify for Africa but God knows what is best for the club”.

Some of the items presented to the players include assorted fruits and parcels. Atem on behalf of the players expressed their appreciation to such a wonderful gesture that the supporters' executives exhibited and assured them to join the team very soon. Atem also urged the fans to stay united and rally behind the management of the team even in times of difficulties.
