OCT 27, 2016 LISTEN

Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Albert Commey has confirmed that there is no truth in the story trending that his outfit is set to appoint ex-Hearts of Oak gaffer Kenichi Yatsuhashi as head coach.

The coaching job of the club became vacant after Cioba Aristica left the club on mutual agreement to pursue his pro license caching course. READ MORE: G- 6 tournament reschedule for November 13th

News making round in the local media indicate that, the Dormaa giants are on the verge of announcing Yatsuhashi as Aristica's successor but the CEO of the former Premier League champions has rebuffed those reports.

'There is no truth in that story. I don't know where those stories came from, those stories are all false,' Commey told  Pulse.com.gh .

'Aduana Stars will not be appointing Kenichi, the truth is initially we held talks with him but nothing good came from it. Even as now Kenichi has gotten a new job in Asia, so he is not coming to Ghana to coach Aduana Stars,' he added.

Aduana Stars in last season's Ghana Premier League finished at the second position.
