Newcastle United new recruit Christian Atsu is jetting off to Accra to join his international team-mates after completing his loan switch from Chelsea on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old passed medicals and finalized his move to the St James' Park on transfer deadline day. Atsu will spend the entire season with Rafael BenÃtez's side.
The former FC Porto star has tweeted a picture of himself at the Heathrow Airport while waiting to board a flight to Accra to join his Ghana team-mates.
Avram Grant's charges have assembled in Accra, training at the Ghanaian capital ahead of their 2017 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda on Saturday.
