Masai Ujiri, President of Giants of Africa, an NGO that supports the promotion and development of Basketball in Africa has expressed his excitement for coming to Ghana to continue in teaching kids about the game and transforming their lives.
Speaking to the media, he expressed that Ghana abounds in raw basketball talents who must be tapped with gradual approach.
Ujiri who is also General Manager of the Toronto Rators said the potentials can be nurtured with the support from stakeholders of the sport in the country.
This year’s camp of the giants of Africa is being supported by Ecobank who are committed to programmes that transform Africans.
The Giants of Africa are also supported by Toronto Raptors Basketball team donated some items to the Village of Hope in Accra and held a two-day clinic at the Lincoln Community School before leaving for Nigeria on the six African nation tour.
