Tommy wishes Agbeko well

GNA

Accra, Oct. 28, GNA - Mr Thomas Okine, Manager of Joseph Agbeko, Commonwealth Boxing Contender has sent a goodwill message to the boxer as he mounts the ring on Friday night to vie for the vacant Commonwealth Bantamweight championship belt against Sumaila Badu at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In a statement issued by Mr Okine, the Manager said he expects the boxer to traverse this path on his way to clinch greater honours in his chosen profession, boxing.

Mr Okine is also the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.

He said that "though I would not be around during the fight as I'm on another important assignment in South Africa where Hearts of Oak is poised to upstage Santos Club of South Africa on Sunday, I believe you are capable of putting up another impressive performance to win the day."

"You must exhibit the great talents you showed from your amateur days to the present so as to conquer Badu, who I am sure cannot stand in our way to glory." Mr Okine added.
