The Disciplinary Committee (DC) 'A' of the Ghana Football Association will hear the case between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Accra Hearts of Oak, following their 2-1 defeat to Kotoko on match day 25 of the Ghana Premier League in Accra filed a protest to challenge the eligibility of Obed Owusu, whom according to the Phobians had been booked 4 times prior to that game.
The sporting public is informed that the Disciplinary Committee shall adjudicate all Protest Cases immediately the exchange of the processes (Protest, Defence and Reply were required) in the cases are fully exchanged and become ripe for adjudication.
Per the GFA Regulations, Protests do not require personal hearing unless the Disciplinary Committee deems it fit to call the parties to its hearing.
Asante Kotoko will drop to the relegation zone, should they lose the protest, because they will be deducted 6 points, while Hearts of Oak who are currently lying in the relegation zone will lift themselves from the bottom three.
