Asante Kotoko have reportedly penned down Beecham Chelsea's striker, Issaka Ibrahim, as a potential signing for the next soccer season.

According to Ghanasoccernet, the 23-year-old has earned good reviews, after featuring prominently for the Premier League debutants.

The rasta-haired forward is the Club's joint top scorer with five goals in their rookie season.

Reports also say that the Club has enquired about the availability of Hasaacas's playmaker, Joseph Ato Bissau, and also Hearts attacker Ekow Ghansah, who is currently with Ebusua Dwarfs.

The club wants to fortify their squad for next year's CAF Champions League and the domestic league.

Meanwhile, reports also indicate that Kotoko are contemplating pulling out of the annual top-four tournament, which has been scheduled to start next month.

The details of their decision to withdraw are unknown, but reports have it that the Porcupine Warriors, will pull the plugs in order to play in the off-season tournament.

Kotoko pulled out of the competition two years ago citing various reasons.

Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Hearts of Lions and King Faisal are likely candidates for this year's tournament, with a game left to end the season.
