The Black Satellites will up their preparations for this year's Fifa World Youth Championship with an international friendly against South Africa's national youth team on 30 May at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The Satellites are due for a four-nation tournament in Venezuela next month and want to fine tune with a predominately locally-based side.

Ghana, en route to lifting the African Youth Championship in Rwanda early this year, beat South Africa 4-3 in a nervy semi-final clash.

"We are going to select the team from the locally-based players in camp. Surely, this is a good test for our preparations as the South Africans are a strong side," Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh told the GNA

"We will also use the game to assess the players in camp before moving to the next step."

The Amajitas will arrive on Wednesday 27 May and leave after the friendly to play Uruguay, Ghana's Group opponents at the World Cup.
