Daniel Opare Ghana starlet Daniel Opare has returned to training with the Real Madrid youth side since fracturing a fifth metatarsal of his left foot while training with the senior team.
The 18-year-old was on the verge of being named in Junde Ramos squad for a La Liga game against Valencia in December when he sustained the injury.
But the right-back trained with his team-mates this week as he stepped up his recovery with his explosive runs on the flanks.
Opare has impressed youth coach Julian Lopetugui with his work rate and is likely to play his first League match on his return against Atletico Madrid's youth side on Sunday.
"I'm even surprised with my performance at training. At first I thought I will lose form but I'm impressed with my speed," Opare told Ghanasoccernet.
"My coach came to me and said he was also shocked at my recovery but I have to thank God. There's more work to do and I have no time on my side." "I was close to achieving my dream when I got the injury so I have to work my way there again. I Know it will be difficult anyway," he added.
