OPEELE IS LOATHED FOR HIS MOUTH-WIDE Interim Asante Kotoko head coach Isaac Opeele Boateng will be handed his first test on Thursday afternoon when he faces his former team Tema Youth in the Glo Premier League at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
Opeele assumed full technical responsibility after Belgian trainer Maurice Cooreman parted ways with the club on Tuesday.
The foul-mouthed coach led Tema Youth to second-place on the League table before quitting the club to Kotoko last month.
He assisted Coorman in two league matches and can pitch himself for the substantive role with an impresive display.
Kotoko are now 10 points behind leaders and rivals Hearts of Oak and need victory to whittle down cut their lead.
Tema Youth are also tied on 15 points with the Porcupine Warriors but are sixth-place because of inferior goal difference.
