President John Evans Atta Mills THE PRESIDENT, John Evans Atta Mills has announced a package for the Black Satellites for progressing into the next stage of the ongoing African Youth Championship (AYC) in Rwanda.
A statement signed by the presidential spokesperson, Mahama Ayariga, noted that the President appreciates the splendid performance of the team, offering them a qualification bonus similar to the winning bonus at the group stage of the competition.
“His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, Professor Mills extends his congratulations to the players, technical and management teams of the Black Satellites for their qualification to the FIFA World Cup In Egypt in September this year.”
The statement indicated that the President's expectation is that their sense of patriotism would spur them on to work harder and win gold at the on-going African Youth Championship to make Ghana proud.
It further stated that His Excellency wishes the players, management and technical handlers good luck in their semi final match.
