Lady Captain, Florence Etwi-Barimah won the Tema Country Golf Club Ladies' Monthly medal for October held at Tema last week Thursday.
Affectionately called 'Lady Scientific', Florence won the 18-hole event with a low net score of 76, beating Esther Afrakomah Antwi (77 net), Esi Cobbina (78 net) and Grace Afriyie (80 net) in that order.
Susie Abaloo-Kumassah won the visitors prize beating her Achimota Club Captain, Mary Hanson, who took the runner-up position.
Patrick Fiagbe, a past president of Royal Golf Club of Kumasi beat Komla Quarshie to win the men's supporters event.
E.O. Donkor was third, while K. Boakye took the fourth prize.
Florence later commended the men golfers of Tema for their support in organising the competition.
She also thanked the Achimota golfers for gracefully supporting the Tema monthly event.
