African Games: Ghana’s 4x100m medley relay team withdraws from men’s final

Ghana's quest for another swimming medal at the 13th African Games has suffered a significant setback as the men's 4x100m medley relay team has withdrawn from the final event.

Comprising Abeiku Jackson, Kow Jackson, Harry Stacey, and Niklas Yeboah, the team made a unanimous decision to withdraw for undisclosed reasons.

Despite finishing fourth in the heat with a time of 4:04.98, trailing behind Egypt, South Africa, and Algeria, the team will not be vying for a medal in the final.

However, Harry Stacey and Joselle Mensah are still set to compete in the 50m freestyle competitions.
