HIGHLIGHTS: RTU 1-0 Hearts Of Oak - Manaf Umar scores 'Goal of the Season' contender

Real Tamale United (RTU) put up a top performance on Sunday night to beat Hearts of Oak 1-0 in the Ghana Premier League.

The Tamale-based club today hosted the Phobians in the Week 16 encounter of the 2022/23 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

While both teams will play some good football in the first half, neither side could get on the scoresheet before halftime.

After recess, Hearts of Oak looked destined to score to win the game but unfortunately could not find the back of the net of the home team.

Late in the game, former Hearts of Oak attacker Abdul Manaf Umar equalised in the 85^th minute to stun the Phobians.

Despite making the effort to score to force the match to end in a stalemate, the Ghanaian league giants failed and had to succumb to a narrow 1-0 defeat at the end of the contest.
