The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) on Saturday, October 1, 2022, held the draw for the 2023 CHAN tournament.
The Ghana team nicknamed the Black Galaxies qualified for the tournament the hard way.
In the final round of the playoffs, the team locked horns with rivals Nigeria and only booked a place in the tournament after beating the Super Eagles on penalties.
At the end of the 2023 CHAN tournament draw ceremony held in Algeria, Ghana has been pitted in Group C to face defending champions Morocco.
The other opponents in the group are Madagascar and Sudan.
Next year’s CHAN tournament has been scheduled to start on Friday, January 13, and will end on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Algeria, the host nation is ready to welcome the rest of the continent for a tournament that promises a lot of excitement.
