Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan has been spotted with the king of Eswatini, Mswati III.

Gyan was in Eswatini over the weekend for an exhibition game between African legends and a select team of Eswatini legends.

The 36-year-old did what he does best by scoring in the game despite the African legends suffering a 4-2 defeat.

In the aftermath of the game at the Mavuso Sports Center, the king of Eswatini invited Gyan to his palace.

The former Sunderland forward was seen wearing a traditional outfit as he stood by Mswati III.

He also presented a copy of his book, Leygyandary, to the king to cap off the nice encounter between the duo.

Gyan remains one of the country's most decorated players having played in 2006, 2010, and 2014 World Cup in Germany, South Africa, and Brazil respectively.

The former Liberty Professionals is the country's all-time goal scorer with 51 goals and remains Africa's top goal scorer with 6 goals in the history of the World Cup.

Gyan in a recent interview with the BBC hinted he is aiming to play in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
