Pre-season: Asante Kotoko beat Ghana Army FC 4-0 in Accra

Ghanaian giant, Asante Kotoko recorded another pre-season victory on Friday, August 19, 2022.

The club has been in Accra since last week to prepare for the trip to Turkey for the second phase of pre-season training.

Unfortunately, some delays attributed to visa acquisition have meant that the trip is delayed.

While awaiting to resolve of the issues, Asante Kotoko have continued training in the capital since Monday.

Today, the reds engaged the Ghana Army Football Club in a pre-season-friendly match.

In a game played at the Ajiriganor Park, Asante Kotoko proved to be the better side as the team cruised past the opponent with a 4-0 win.

There were goals from Addo, Oppong, Afoakwa, and Taylor in today’s game.

This is the second pre-season win for the Ghana Premier League giant as preparations continue ahead of the start of the 2022/23 football season.
