Accra, Dec 19, GNA - The GA Mashie playing cards league which is under the sponsorship of Honourable Nii Bi Ayebonte, Member of Parliament for the Odododiodo constituency will enter its ninth week at the Garden, near the James Town Prisons at the weekend.
According to Nana Nkosua Mingle, Greater Accra indoor games co-ordinator, league leaders, Aveagers will lock horns with Magic Hands with names like Aboloo, JA, Atram and George Kweitey leading the former. In other games, Readers are expected to meet Peace Arrows, while Professionals clash with E.T Power and Texas and Zoom Zoom meet each other in another tough duel.
The Sir Clooquaye lads will meet Phobia in what promises to be an interesting encounter while Super Mighty Jets host Liquender. Believers and Toppers will battle each other as Showboys and Dantu Born Again play each other.
Finishing Powers and Great Obonu will meet Alpha Omaga and Macbel respectively.
In a related development, the Osu playing cards league, which is being sponsored by Mr. Samuel Nii Armah Quaye and Mr Isaac Owusu Yelbert will also come up at the weekend.
Liberty Card Club will meet Pharmacy Report Club and former Osu champions, Ananu Club will play Enigyakrom Club.
In other games, Five Junction and Rangers Club will be meeting in a game that is tipped as the top liner while Kinkawe Sankofa Club meets Wish Me Luck club.
