The Uganda U-20 team has booked a date with the Ghana U-20 team in the finals of the 2021 Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament after thrashing the Tunisia U-20 team 4-1.

On Monday, March 1, 2021, the two semi-final matches of the ongoing tournament in Mauritania were staged in Stade Olympique Nouakchott.

Subsequently, the last semi-final encounter between Uganda and Tunisia rained goals with the former securing a delightful 4-1 win thanks to a hat-trick from star striker Kakooza Derrick.

Now through to the finals, both Ghana and Uganda are confident of winning the ultimate prize and will resume training on Tuesday to commence preparation for what will be a tough clash in the upcoming weekend.

The match will be played at the Stade Olympique Nouakchott on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
