Aduana Stars have climbed to second on the Ghana Premier League standings after recording a massive 1-0 win against Asante Kotoko on Sunday evening.

The Dormaa-based club in the past few weeks have struggled in the league with many ruling the side out of the list of teams likely to win the title at the end of the season.

However, after improving and recording positive results in their last five matches, Aduana Stars suddenly find themselves in the top four and with a good chance to defend the Ghana Premier League title.

Playing as a guest to record champions Asante Kotoko today, the team put up a good fight to ensure they merited the maximum points.

On the matchday, the tough encounter that ensued between the two teams saw both sides creating a number of chances.
