There have been divergent views expressed on the phone indefinite suspension slammed on Division One League of side, Techiman City F/C, by the GFA, last Friday.

Lawyer J.K.Yeboah of the Aduana Stars Legal Team views the move as a clear case of selective justice and urged the Techiman club to take the case to court, to seek redress.

He said this in an interview on Suncity sports, Saturday morning, and indicated the club has a legal status and was eligible to seek redress in the law courts on any issue of mutual concerns.

The Legal practitioner said if other clubs of the same fraternity could take the F.A to court without being sanctioned, why Techiman City?"Selective justice will not help with the proper development of football in Ghana,' he opined.

However, Mr. Takyi Arhin (Thunder), a veteran football administrator, of Techiman Eleven Wonders F/C fame, sharply dissented, saying Techiman City as a member of the GFA, was obliged to abide by the statutes of the Association, failure of which attracts sanctions.

He explained that Articles 13,14 and 15 of the GFA's statutes, no club was to take the FA to court but follow laid down avenues for seeking redress in-house.

Thunder stated that Charles Kwadwo Nti(Micky Charles), President of Techiman City, with his rich experience in football administration in the country, should have known better and avoided the ban.

"We in the Bono region are our own enemies. I have no qualms about the FA's action, they're only applying the rules, to sanitize the game in the country, to make it more viable and attractive,' he stated.

Techiman City President, Micky Charles, took the FA to court to place an injunction on its Congress, seemingly against the statutes of the Association, and this prompted the Kurt Okraku--led FA, to impose an indefinite suspension on the club, last Friday, September 18th,2020.
