The exciting youngster spent the 2019/2020 football season in the same European country where he played as a loan player for Royal Excel Mouscron.
After excelling during his stay, his services have now been secured by Oud-Heverlee Leuven to give them a squad boost in the recently started 2020/2021 campaign.
“Werder Bremen is lending Jonah Osabutey to OH Leuven until the end of this campaign. This 21-year-old Ghanaian grew out to be the trendsetter at Royal Excel Mouscron last season”, an official statement from OH to confirm the signing of the forward has said today.
During his stay in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League last season, Jonah Osabutey made 22 appearances for Royal Excel Mouscron where he chipped in with 5 goals and 4 assists.
If he manages to impress at OH Leuven, the former Tema Youth FC attacker will have the chance of making his stay permanent.
