Ghana’s Jordan Ayew was on target on Saturday afternoon to help Crystal Palace defeat AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League at the Vitality Stadium.
Following a 3 months break from football as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the sport has finally made a return and is shaping up nicely.
In a Matchday 30 fixture of the season in the English top-flight, Crystal Palace played away to AFC Bournemouth. An outstanding display from the Eagles earned the side all 3 points on the back of a 2-0 win.
First, Luka Milivojevic scored from a direct free kick on the 13th minute before striker Jordan Ayew added a second 10 minutes later with an assist from Patrick van Aanholt.
Ayew, 28, has now featured in 29 games for Crystal Palace this season in the English Premier League and has 9 goals and 1 assist.
