Kofi Manu Set To Join Ashgold As A Special Consultant

Former vice-chairman of the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kofi Manu ‘Blue Boy’ is set to be appointed as a Special Consultant and Accra Representative for Ashanti Gold.

According to club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Emmanuel Frimpong, they have already contacted the veteran football administrator, and talks are currently ongoing.

“It's true we have approached Kofi Manu to be part of our team and he is always welcomed”, Emmanuel Frimpong told Oyerepa FM.

In an interview on the same platform, Kofi Manu Blue Boy has shared that he has been in talks with Ashgold President Dr. Kwaku Frimpong over potentially taking up the above-mentioned roles.

“Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has spoken to me about joining Ashantigold as Accra Rep and a special Consultant and advisor but we are yet to make that official with documentations”, he indicated.

Further checks have revealed that Kofi Manu sees the possibility of joining the Miners family as a good opportunity and will join them if they present a good offer.
