Mormons Hold Semi-Annual Conference

The Accra/Tema Christianborg Stake members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in a break discussion at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This was during the church's semi-annual conference.

The conference which is held in April and August every year, attributed a large number of worshippers of the stake comprising Adenta, Cantonments, Christianborg, Madina, Newtown and the North Ridge Wards.

Briefing the press, the presi-dent of the Accra Christianborg stake, Mr Richard Kwesi Ahadjie said that the conference is held to renew the faith of the members and to listen to talks, for the development of the church.

Elder Sheldon Child, in-charge of the West African area of the church urged the members to have trust, faith and confidence in the Lord.
