The tenure of the Member of Parliament(MP) for Atwima Nwabiagya constituency of the Ashanti region, Benito Owusu Bio, is in limbo as he is likely to lose his seat ahead of the 2020 general elections.
The MP, who is also the deputy minister for Lands and Natural Resources, is seen in a viral video been hooted at during a visit to the area. The angry youth chanted 'AWAY'!
Even though one could not tell the exact worry of the constituents, it is likely to do with his performance in the constituency as the MP.
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is yet to hold its parliamentary primaries next year and with the fate of the MP to be decided after it.
