What Ghanaians are experiencing now in the country under a democratic rule, has never been experienced in Ghana before and like always, the truth is bitter than the bile, people would like to intimidate or threaten you to be quiet but not me. I am not afraid of anyone in this world unless the God I don’t see.
At times you may not be interested in politics but the absurd behaviors of some people will push you into writing certain articles you may previously not be interested in. Akufo Addo's nephew, Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe is causing his downfall as he fails to point out the mistakes the Ghanaian leader is making with trash articles.
He is a very wicked man, who hides behind false names with the intention to destroy people who pose as a challenge to him only and I strongly believe that Nana Akufo Addo has the same instincts, else Ghana wouldn't be in this mess under over 110 ministers. Now that he is failing, he continues to shift the blame on NDC.
Nana Akufo Addo knows the reason he wants to build a Cathedral in Ghana, amidst collapsed banking institutions and the high rate of employment. Thousands of Ghanaians, including the police and the army, are suffering but it only takes courage in Ghana to voice out.
Look at the current state of Ghana, everything is falling apart under the administration of Nana Akufo Addo but many journalists can’t even enjoy their profession to write about it because they fear for their lives. And if you are bold to write about it they accuse you of being a member of NDC.
Even in Belgium that everything is cheap, every poor or rich person can afford a car and still works in the same company for the past fourteen years, I am not affiliated with any political party. I am not the only one; thousands are not even interested to vote because they don’t care about political parties.
This is one of the reasons the Belgium government made voting for political parties compulsory and if you fail to do so, you’ll face a heavy fine. Thus; in Belgium, because I don’t want to pay this heavy fine, I am forced to vote. Therefore, what is the significance of Joining NDC or NPP in Ghana?
Even though I live in Belgium, nothing prevents me from writing about the negative political events and bad governance in Ghana. If Ghanaians living in the Diaspora are not contributing to the progress of Ghana’s economy, the Ghanaian leader wouldn’t encourage those in the Diaspora to invest in Ghana.
Those who hate this writer can continue with their empty threats and intimidation because they are just wasting their time. My name is Joel Savage and "I write what I like," thank you, my hero, Steve Biko.
