Members of the Abuakwa South Constituency Of the ruling New Patriotic Party, (NPP) paid homage to the family of the late George Somuah Bosompem, the former teacher of Asiakwa Salvation Army Basic School to commiserate with the family for accidentally losing a hero, motivator and breadwinner of the family.

The team led by the able member of Parliament MP for the constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea who also doubles as the Minister for Works and Housing, bemoaned the attacks by these teen suspects and assured the family the support of NPP to; first deal with the matter and secondly help them provide a befitting burial for the lost.

The meeting was held in the house of the late George Somuah Bosompem . The NPP party in a short time could gather GHS 2,000:00 for the family to help them prepare for the burial.

Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea said the party is ready to perform all the necessary rites needed for the burial including all the costs involved and also pledged never to let the children he (late George Somuah Bosompem) left behind go astray.

He encourages the bereaved family and advised parents that going forward, they need to be responsible and vigilant in training their children.

He said the future of their children must be their topmost priorities.

The Abuakwa South legislator admonished claims that the suspects might have slain the teacher because there is no job.

According to him, irrespective of the condition anyone goes through, they are not expected to go wayward. "If it's because of job then the people living in Accra have all slain themselves, " he said.

The MP again revealed that the government is committed to getting the suspects if found guilty severely punished.

The family therefore thanked the NPP party for their enormous support to their late son and promised not to hide anything in the wake of their preparation towards the burial from them.

From there, the team went to Kibi government hospital to note down their wants and needs in enabling a conducive health care delivery.
