Musama Church deny rumours

Accra, Sept. 12, GNA - Prophet Alexus Hubamoulda Jehu-Appiah, Public Relations Officer of the Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC), on Monday denied rumours that the leadership of the Church had plans to dismiss dissident members of the clergy.

"No such decision has been taken by any member of the Interim Management Committee of the MDCC and no meeting to that effect has been held," he said in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

Prophet Jehu-Appiah said although the church was going through turbulent times, as a Christian organisation, it is waiting upon the Lord to get divine direction on how to mend "the broken fences" and pursue the agenda of winning more souls for Christ.

He urged members of the Church to remain united and not allow the determination of the devil to divide their ranks to succeed. "As Christians we should rather watch and pray since the devil is happy when our faith is dampened," he said.
