Rejoinder: There is no sense in celebrating Independence Day – Dumelo

My fear for the nation emanates from the pronouncements of people who lack basic understanding of the term “Nationalism”, and who lack the basic principle of Patriotism to the land that has so much given them of its endowments. I am lucky that no sooner this fear grips me than the “hope” that heralded the “change” we are experiencing under His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo comes shining through the darkest niche to liberate my spirit.

John Dumelo wouldn’t know that! Oh no! He wouldn’t!!

But how would he when he did not see anything wrong with the pillaging of the economy that the nation suffered at the hands of the most incompetent president Ghana has ever had, John Dramani Mahama? But how would he when he did not see anything wrong with the massive free bontos that were dished out by the allegedly corrupt Lordina Mahama, the former first lady? How would he when he received from John Mahama more than many NDC footsoldiers who suffered for their party, according to certain narrations? How would he when he stands accused for stealing a Toyota Land cruiser? How would he when he is going to be a subject of the special prosecutor’s justice? How would he when he did not see anything wrong with the SADA rot; guinea fowl scandal; the Ghana Embassy fence wall scandal in Burkina Faso; the John Mahama Ford Scandal; the Ameri deal scandal; the over pricing scandals; the bus branding scandal; the Free Zones Board scandals; and many many more under the auspices of the create, loot, and share strategy of his thieving Bosses in the NDC?

When John Dumelo does not see sense in celebrating Independence Day, he confirms what many say about him; that he is a senseless brat scouting for avenues to loot the state. After all, the NDC is known to be smart in nation wrecking, armed robberies, looting, nepotism and narcissism, clandestine manipulation of the system for their own gains, and so on! Why did he not see anything wrong with the abominable manipulation of contracts by Ibrahim Mahama?

Did he see anything wrong with the latest spate of armed robberies of which the NDC stands accused after several of their die hard executives and members were caught and killed in the act? You guessed right, No!

I want to tell him that we have cause to celebrate independence because it comes with two liberations: one from the colonialists in 1957, and another from the NDC shackles and chains! Has he not heard that, recently, those Ghanaian gang leaders stationed at certain locations in the desert along the Libyan route are NDC operatives selling their brethren into slavery? He would choose to keep quiet over this precedent. John Dumelo should be ashamed for his lack of patriotism to Ghana. I do not care if he is of Togolese or Beninoire descent as many assume him to be. The eventuality is that he is Ghanaian and owes allegiance to this country!

Yes, we have cause to celebrate independence! The main independence is from the reckless borrowing and embezzlement of borrowed money by form of inflated invoices, ghost company charges, fake invoices, and what have you that his NDC exacted on the good people of this country! We have reason to celebrate independence; that sweet independence from the grips of the most abominable economic criminals the world has ever had, manifesting under the Ghanaian sky in the form of persons owing allegiance to a perforated umbrella and a vulture head: the NDC! I want to tell John Dumelo that we have cause to celebrate independence from the corruption of the NHIA Bosses of the NDC; from the GPHA Bosses of the NDC; from the looting of the Roads Ministry under Inusah Fusseini; from the unprecedented rampage of money sand contracts by Opuni at the Cocoa Board; from the haplessness of a situation said to have being created by John and Lordina Mahama in the DKM scandal; from the millions of US Dollars of the nation’s money allegedly doled out to him and his ilk.

I cannot fathom any other reason at this time to celebrate a more glorified independence than from the NDC. In fact, under colonial rule, even though the British Colonialists looted our resources, they left an appreciable amount of money when they exited in 1957. They built the infrastructure of our beloved country, Ghana! They even gave saome of the NDC fathers British Passports. Best of all, they gave the ancestors of the NDC #FreeEducation; that same GODLY phenomenon they are kicking against!

But what did the NDC leave in comparison? They bequeathed Nana Akufo-Addo a debt of over one hundred and twenty billion New Ghana Cedis! They bequeathed him a skeletal fleet of vehicles not more than 170 cars (they stole over 400 presidential vehicles selling them at 5% of their value); they bequeathed the Nana Akufo-Addo Presidency a broken down economy; broken down NHIA; broken down Ministries; broken down infrastructure; broken down railway system; broken down ECG; dumsor; a nation of corrupt leaders; a presidency denigrated by the lowliness of a Boss, who drank and smoked so much so that his eyes practically took a permanent red colour.

What does John Dumelo know about pragmatism? What does he know about diligence? He knows nothing of that at all! Not even acting koraa. In the movies that featured him, he looked like an overdone sex worker in need of hormonal replenishment and spiritual resuscitation!

Yes John Dumelo, we have cause to celebrate independence from feeble minds as yours that do not think except about opportunities to deal the State an unnationalistic blow!
