Ho, Jan. 26, GNA- The Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), a non-profit organisation belonging to wife of Vice President, Mrs Samira Bawuma has donated six thousand hand sanitizers to some second cycle institutions in the Ho Municipality.
Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister who made the presentation on behalf of the organisation, said the items were to promote healthy living and inculcate the habit of living in clean environment in students.
He said the presentation was also part of her promise of helping make life a bit comfortable to the vulnerable in society.
Mr John Kodzo Teku, Director of Education, Volta Region who received the items expressed appreciation to the organisation and asked for more of such generous donations to schools.
The beneficiary schools are; OLA Girls Senior High School in Ho, Agotime Senior High School and Adaklu Senior High School.
