MTN Ghana, the leading communication network has donated five computers and it accessories to the Garden city special school at Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti region.

The computers, fully networked with internet connectivity service from MTN is funded by the yellow care volunteer program.

The 21 days of yello care is an annaul staff volunteer programme instituted 10 years ago runs across MTN group from 1st to 21st June, to support education, health among others.

The items worth thausands of Ghana cedis is to aid teachers resource adequate information to enhance effective technological teaching and learning in benefit of the special students.

Dr. Rosely Frempongmaa Adjepong head of the school applauded MTN yellow care for such wonderful gesture saying will go extrem mile fostering a good relationship between the two entities.

Commenting on the schools challenges Dr Adjepong says lack of adequate domitories and classroorms hinders their effective duties at the school.

Also, delay of subvention is currently is the greatest challenge making managing difficult by crediting stuffs from supplier's.

"Lack of space at the girl’s dormitory as another major problem hindering the school". She noted.

Madam Adwoa Baah Obeng, Branches Manager for MTN-Ghana in charge of the Northern Business District says the donation will aid teachers with technological module of teaching for the special school.

She said, the facility will provide comfortable mode for studying to promote the yellow care vision of enhancing education in the country.
