Married Woman Dies During Abortion After Lover Impregnated Her

Vanguard Nigeria reports that a 33-year-old woman, identified as Sukurat Adedoyin reportedly died following complications during abortion.

The report claims that the mother-of-8 was impregnated by her boyfriend, Identified as Alabi Kamilu, 30.

She then sought for help from an auxiliary nurse, Bello Abosede, 34, to terminate the pregnancy. But later died during the process.

The Investigating Police Officer, Asake Morowuntonu, said the victim was a married woman and had had eight children.

Morowuntonu stated that Kamilu, the alleged boyfriend, forced the deceased to terminate the pregnancy.
