Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah Must Wake Up From His Slumber

TAG has been vindicated. It may be recalled that on the 4th January, 2017, TAG came out with a press release asking the President to immediately revoke the appointment of Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah as the National Security Minister for he cannot be trusted but the President gave a deaf ear to this request. Our appeal was based on his poor performance as the Defense Minister under the President Kuffour's administration in 2008 when he allegedly told Hon. Kennedy Agyapong that the Security had broken down on the election day.

Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah is now the National Security Minister and what do we see today; Hooliganism and Lawlessness have taken centre stage in the country. Stabbing and Brutalization of innocent Ghanaians by the NPP's Invincible Forces and Delta Force have been on the ascendency.

The worse of it all is the recent brutalization, manhandling and chasing out of the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator, Mr. George Adjei by the NPP's Delta Force on Friday 24/3/2017 in Kumasi.

We are yet to hear or see any condemnation and action from the National Security Minister.

We at TAG are of the view that, is either Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah is sleeping on the job or simply incapable and he should sit up or humbly recuse himself off his post for a competent person to take over.
