Techiman (B/A), Jan.31, GNA- Mr Boadu Acheamfour, a Teacher at the Techiman Local Authority Primary School, met his untimely death at the weekend, when he was knocked down by a taxicab at the outskirt of Forikrom near Techiman.
The Municipal Police Commander, Superintendent Paul Kojo Gyimpeh told the Ghana News Agency that the deceased was riding a motorbike with one Yaw Appiah on the pillion when the incident occurred. He said Appiah who sustained injuries was on admission at the Holy Family Hospital.
Supt. Gyimpeh said the Taxi Driver had been placed in Police custody to assist in investigations while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.
