Tema, Jan 12, GNA - A car washer at Ashaiman who was met wearing a shirt he had stolen has been granted 30 million cedis' bail by the Tema circuit court 'B'.
Dotse Mensah pleaded not guilty and will reappear on January 24, 2005. Inspector Ben Agbedanu told the court that on August 17, 2004, the complainant and his wife travelled to the Volta Region to attend a funeral.
They returned a few days later and found their room broken into and their personal effects stolen.
Inspector Agbedanu said on December 24, 2004, the complainant met the accused wearing a green shirt that was among the items stolen and caused his arrest.
