Mr George Kwabena Amisare, a spokesman of the farmers, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Kranka that about 120 farmers had, under the Agency's incentive package scheme, cultivated more than 400 hectares of cashew.

"The farmers are provided with food aid such as wheat brand and cooking oil in addition to agricultural inputs like fertilizer, cutlasses and Wellington boots", he said.
