Obrafour: The Legendary Ghanaian Rapper (Part 1)

I am the greatest fan of Obrafour, the legendary Ghanaian Rapper! I am even listening to Obrafour's latest track, Pimpinaa featuring Bisa Kdei which has compelled me to write an article about this great musician. Obrafour, the Ghana Rap Sofour, i.e. the Ghana Rap Priest is the Ghanaian Rapper with more musical impact on the society! That is why many people perceive him as the greatest gift and asset to rap music in Ghana or Hip-life!

Moreover, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko who was born in 1976 released his first album, Pae Mu Ka in 1999 which is adjudged the best rap music album in Ghana of all time. And he has released a couple of albums over the years which are all classical albums. Obrafour is a dynamic rapper who does purely indigenous rap with exceptional beats by Hammer of the Last Two! His tracks are filled with proverbial lyrics which have always defied the corrupt evolution of rap music! That is the difference Obrafour has made consistently in rap music over the years.

Also, this legendary Ghanaian rapper represents the transition from a talented hustler to a musical star in Ghana music! Because this talented boy dropped out of secondary school in 1995 upon the death of his beloved mother to pursue his talent. And his brilliance, diligence and integrity have enabled him to be the best Ghanaian Rapper ever. That is why he proclaims that he is one of the few survivors of the test of time! For this lyricist is a bigger inspiration to me as a teenage article writer!
