NUGS removes representatives to GETFUND

....impeaches Coordinating Secretary Accra, July 6, GNA - The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has upheld its decision to remove its representative to the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND), Mr Issahaku Kotomah and also impeached its Co-ordinating Secretary, Mr Issahaku Ibrahim.

A statement issued by the NUGS Executive Committee in Accra on Monday said the decision to remove the two was arrived at the Union's third Central Committee sitting at Western University College, Tarkwa on Friday July 2.

The statement said Mr Ibrahim and Kotomah were cited for misconduct in office and "contravening the spirit and letter" of the Union's Constitution under article 27 clause one and two, sub section A, B and D.
