Catholic Church commended for its educational development

Obuasi (Ash), May 11, GNA- The Dagaba Community in Obuasi has commended the Catholic Church for its pioneering role in the development of education in the Upper West region.

The members said they owed their standard of education to the Church because of its good work in the area.

This was a consensus at a meeting of the community to raise funds to support the rehabilitation of one of the dormitories of Lassia Tuolu Secondary School near Wa, which got burnt late last year. The Catholic Church provided the school.
