Apam (C/R) April 11, GNA - The Gomoa West Constituency Women's Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Miss Grace Okoe, has appealed to the leadership of the party to fix a date for the holding of primaries to elect a parliamentary candidate for the area.

Miss Okoe, popularly called " Santana," said with the voters' registration exercise over, the primaries could be held early to avoid it coinciding with other programmes of the Electoral Commission.

Making the appeal through the Ghana News Agency at Apam, the Constituency Women's Organiser said the holding of the event would end acrimony and tension, which had characterized the campaign of the supporters of the candidates contesting the primaries.
