Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and forest guards had launched operation at Amtenga village near the Kaziranga National Park (KNP) and nabbed two wanted rhino poachers.

Security forces recovered one AK-47 rifle and a 303 rifle in possession of them.

In separate incident, police nabbed another two poachers in Pobitora wildlife sanctuary in Morigaon district on Sunday night.
