Accra, Feb. 11, GNA - The Chiefs and people of the Kaleo Traditional Area in the Upper West Region have expressed their gratitude to the President for appointing Mr Roger Angsonmwine to the office of the Secretary to the Cabinet.
This was contained in a press release on Monday signed by Naa Y. Dogoli Bagah II, Acting President of Kaleo Traditional Council and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra.
'Having known Mr Angsonmwine for years as the quintessential public servant, we were not surprised that your Excellency noticed his impeccable track record in public service which transcends the political divide and considered him for additional duties to our Motherland,' it added.
The release pledged the unflinching support of the people to President Mahama as it pursues a collective developmental agenda and prayed that Mr Angsonmwine appointment would affect the lives of the constituents, the region and the country.
It thanked the President for the honour done to the area and prayed that the good Lord would continue to bless him with patience and wisdom to move the country to a higher developmental pedestal.
