Assembly member thanks President Mills for electricity project
Kwamoso (E/R), Nov. 15, GNA - The Assembly Member for Kwamoso Electoral Area in the Eastern Region, Ms Elizabeth Afre, has praised President John Evans Atta Mills for awarding contract for connection of the area to the national electricity grid.
She said the people appreciated the President's gesture and that they also felt that they were getting a fair share of the “Better Ghana Agenda”.
Ms Afre, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Kwamoso on Tuesday, on ongoing development projects in the area, said about 40 communities in the Akropong Constituency would be connected to the national grid.
He said the contractor assigned to the Kwamoso Electoral Area electricity project had started erecting low tension poles for connection of electricity.
Ms Afre called on investors to invest in the Kwamoso State Farm to create employment for the youth.
