Kristo Asafo strikes partnership deal with Kumasi polytechnic

The Christ Reformed Church, (Kristo Asafo)
and the Kumasi Polytechnic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

under, which they would co-operate for the technological advancement of the country.

Dr. Kwasi Prah, Rector of Kumasi Polytechnic, signed on behalf of the institution while Mr. Festus Owusu-Badu, General Secretary of Kristo Asafo initialed it for the church.

Under the terms of agreement, equipment and facilities of the Church

would be put at the disposal of students of the Polytechnic for use, subject

to best practices to ensure efficiency and proper preservation.

Dr. Prah, said as part of the agreement, any local language could be

used in the training of the students on industrial attachment.

He stated that resources for implementation of the MOU would come from both or any of one of them, depending on funds availability.

There could however not be any implementation of portions of the agreement or commencement of any specific project by either party without the prior written consent of the other.

Mr. Owusu-Badu commended Kumasi Polytechnic for its contribution to the socio-economic development of the nation.

He expressed the hope that the MOU would go a long way in promoting competency and enhance the career development of students.

He said the MOU would ensure the exchange of staff for training purposes whilst collaborating in industrial research and other research activities as may be agreed upon by both parties.
