Dansoman CEM Holds Convention

The Dansoman branch of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry has held a week-long convention aimed at strengthening Christians to “walk in the light” of God.

The March 1 to 8, 2009 convention was on the theme: “Arise and Shine” and was jointly officiated by a host of renowned preachers including Prophet Peter Ahlijah of the East Legon branch of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Prince Nyarko and Pastor Emily-Walf Cocherel, Head Pastor of the Sakumono branch of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry.

The Head Pastor of the Dansoman branch of the church, Rev. Peter Nyadanu, in an address, emphasised the need for Christians to renew their strength in God through prayers and fasting in order to be “spiritually fit” to meet the challenges of the time.

Prophet Ahlijah on his part, said it was time for Christians to connect to the light which is Christ and reflect that light through righteous living.

Using Isaiah 60:1, as his text for exhortation, he urged Christians not to measure their level of anointing by their material possessions but to arise, shine and reflect God's glory.
